As David holds a membership with the National Federation of Music Clubs, his students are eligible to participate in the NFMC Music Festival, Violin Solo and Theory events, each year. David’s students also perform regularly in the Academy’s Blue Note Lounge and formal recitals. David is not only an excellent violinist, but a patient and encouraging teacher as well.
I just wanted you to know how thrilled we have been with Logan’s violin instructor, David Strassberg. After the first lesson, I knew she had been placed with the “right” teacher.
Logan is an avid soccer player but has asked us for the past two years if she could try the violin. I really thought this might be a passing phase but she is the one who brings out the violin to practice – I do not have to remind her. In planning her schedule for the fall, her only requirement is that she has Mr. David.
I have been very impressed with Charlotte Academy of Music. Its professionalism and organization makes me very happy with our decision. David has made violin fun for Logan while at the same time, challenging her to move towards her potential – one we didn’t really know she had. Thank you for having such great teachers on your staff that can relate to 8 year olds and students of all ages. We look forward to being with your academy and growing through the years.
